It is has been very chilling, quite, and a nice place to study in your own comfort. The people in the dorm don't really socialize with each other so it's a but awkwardness. But it can get loud in certain rooms and disturb the peace. Overall 10/10 experience. more

Rosecrown Hall

Rose Crown Hall was/is a very calm and great dorm building. This dorm is for CTVA (Cinema television visual arts) students mainly but other majors are welcomed. You will typically find film, television, documentary, and graphic design majors in the building. Everyone was friendly while I stayed there. The RA (resident assistants) hosted movie and trivia nights where you could meet people. A nice dorm experience! more

Pacific Willow Hall - Building 6

Residents mostly keep to themselves. Lived on floor 2 of 3 so sometimes it was a bit irritating hearing the commotion upstairs that varied from late-night parties here and there to heavy footsteps. All in all, it is a dorm so it is more or less would you may expect it to be. more

CSUN Student Housing - Building 1

I had a pretty good experience in the dorms at CSUN. The security was amazing and I felt super safe in the general area as well as in my building. It was very easy to request maintenance. The only thing I disliked was that the dorms were slightly far away from campus. Everyone would bike, skate, or scooter to class because the walk might be about 15-20 minutes. more

Sycamore Hall

the hall itself is pretty cool. The location is nice but nothing too crazy. In terms of how the apartment is set up, it solid but it depends on who you room with and how much space gets filled up. Overall you can't go wrong with it more

Saguara Hall

I really liked the hall. The people on my floor were really nice. The people below and above us were really loud though and sound carried. We were also right above the basketball and volleyball courts and we could hear them all the time. I really like the location though. It was right next to a pool and a parking lot. The parking lot was convenient for moving in and out because you were close to your car. We were also a nice distance to the cafeteria and convenient store. We were a longer walk to the shuttle, but it wasn't too bad. I would definitely live in this hall again. more

CSUN Student Housing - Building 2

So far my experience has been good. The only downside to dorm living is that there is no elevator so you constantly have to drag heavy stuff up and down the stairs. Another small issue I have are the couches; they are old and dirty and the maintenance don't clean the dorms very well before you move in. Other than that I do enjoy living in the dorm. more

When I first came here, I was so happy that it was next to my college. I literally live right next door. Before going virtual, I used to wake up 25 min before class time to shower and get ready and I can leave 7 min before class and be there on time! The best thing about it is that it is right next to the campus. more
