Jenkins Hall Dorm Reviews at Sac State

I would consider Jenkins a nice dorm for freshmen. There were activities throughout the year and the staff were friendly. The bathrooms and laundry area were cleaned frequently, but like every dorm, it did have its problems sometimes.

Jenkins is like a nice little community. You will get to know a lot of people on your floor and especially your neighbors. The RAs are really nice and the staff is amazing. The staff will say a cheerful good mornimg as you are leaving the dorm in the mornings.

My personal experience with Jenkins wasn’t too bad but also at the same time wasnt the best. While the people that lived there and the staff were nice the building itself needed work. The girls bathroom was constantly dirty and so was the kitchen.

Jenkins Hall was a great experience, the staff was very friendly and helpful. During mid terms and finals the staff would set up a snacking area in which students would be able to get free snacks. People there are very friendly and talkative and it will be easy for you to make friends.

It was okay. I did not like that it is a community bathroom because that seems and is very unclean. I liked the staff there and after I decorated my dorm room, I was happy with my room. I felt safe there.

I enjoyed staying at Jenkins my sophomore year. Due to COVID I was in my room way more than I ever expected. The room was large enough to accommodate my roommate & I, but when he moved out it was even better.

The bathrooms were poorly kept and the building seemed like it was worn down and really old. The floors felt unclean and the ceilings were a bit dirty. The brick walls made it seem like a prison. For the price, it was not worth it.
