Meisner Hall Dorm Reviews at CWU

Meisner hall was not a winner by the looks however the community there was unbeatable, everyone was genuinely friendly and considerate of others, even overlooking most of the negatives. I could feel like I was able to express myself while being away from home and loneliness was never a concern.

My experience at Meisner hall was pretty good, I met a couple of my friends in the dorms and its also fairly quiet. Unless you roomate with a music major, my roomate was practicing her tuba in the dorm room early one morning which I was annoyed with and im sure others were as well. Other than that the dorm is fairly quiet. The cleanliness of the hall as a whole fell onto students so the bathroom/kitchens were dirty from girls leaving hair in the shower, not flushing, and people leaving noodles in the sinks letting garbage pile up and leaving counters/stoves dirty. It’s all about how the students are raised on cleaning and how responsible they are. Meisner is located on campus so classes and the student recreation building is not too far away maybe like a four minute walk, and for classes about 5 or 10 depending how fast you walk. The staff was very nice,( Daisy was my favorite) and were very caring and chill about forgetting/getting locked out of dorm rooms.
