Camphor Hall Dorm Reviews at Dillard

Camphor Hall rooms are really good! They could use some work but I definitely would love my time in camphor hall. The staff are pretty friendly and it's kept up decently. I do think more work could be used on the hall in order for it to be perfect!

For a first year student, my experience in the dorm was great considering that the pandemic was in full affect. I felt at ease with my room and roommate and made it comfortably my home away from home. The RA's were very helpful and gave good advice on how to handle dorm related situations. Overall, I would not change this experience.

My best dorm experience on Dillard's campus was at Camphor hall. I feel as if it is the cleanest hall on campus and also the most recent updated one. The hall was always monitored that made me feel safe and I never had any problems with it be too loud or it not being cleaned in common areas.

The rooms are very spacious and have some privacy. I appreciate that the dorm halls do not have community bathrooms. They instead of bathrooms that are shared between two rooms, so a total of four people max would be using the same bathroom. The hall is very nice and clean and I would definitely recommend it to incoming students.

I have had a good experience overall but I think that the staff could use better bed side manner. I do not know my head over the residence hall and I have never met her yet she has the jurisdiction over most of the things I do in the dorm. The student RA's also could use a better attitude because a lot of the times it seems like they just are doing it to secure their free housing and go on about their day. Although I will admit they do a good job with trying to make events for us adhering to covid restrictions. As far as the rooms they are a good size and in good condition. The dressers are reasonable for a college dorm, the bathrooms are presentable and the sink space suits the room well.

I lived in Camphor Hall my freshman year of college. My room was really spacious but the bathroom area was small. Camphor is a very nice dorm hall and is very well kept. Although it can be a bit busy at times, it is overall a peaceful and respectable dormitory.

I am only in my first year or university, but so far I have had a welcoming experience at Camphor hall. Everyone is very welcoming and have a great roommate! The room itself is in great condition and is large enough to easily share the space with another person.
