Griggs Dorm Reviews at UMD

This is my first year of college and also my first year living alone. I'm enjoying the dorm live and making friends with people on my floor. I don't have a roommate because she deferred this year. Across the hall I have two close friends that are almost my roommates. The dining hall is an easy walk that can be all indoors.

My experience at Griggs was great! The layout was great, and because I was next to Ianni and on the second floor I got a lot of the resources that Ianni also had. I would highly recommend trying to live in this hall!

Griggs hall although good hall I would not say its the cleanest my roommate and I moved in and there is what look likes a giant pee stain by the door. We have tried to clean it up but it is forsake a stain. Also there was blood on the wall next to my roommates bed which we made one of our guys friends wipe up. So although Griggs is exactly what you would expect as a college dorm with only community bathrooms, I would still recommend it for the experience.

My experience was very fun, much better than in LSH Dorms at UMD. The bathrooms are actually decent and the location was near a parking lot which was convenient. I enjoyed being on the bottom floor because I did not have to wait for the elevator or take a ton of stairs.
