Hainer Hall Dorm Reviews at Eastern

Overall, I would say my experience was alright. I liked the location being at least somewhat close to my classes, and I really enjoyed the community of my dorm residence. However, I will say that it was somewhat noisy, but I think it just depends on what kinds of people are placed there in the future. My RA was great too, but I have heard that other RAs (in the same residence hall) weren't as friendly towards other people. The bathroom situation was OK, as it was cleaned about twice a week. I would recommend Hainer to someone who likes a smaller community.

Hainer is a quiet and nice place with some community. It is one of the oldest buildings on campus which gives it charm and character and overall a nice place to live. I live in a triple and my favorite part about it is the loft. It is a secluded room for one and the space is perfect.

A great place to allow my to hang with my friends. Along with allowing me to enjoy my experience. It allows you to have a amazing time. The rooms are good size and very comfortable. The RA's are very nice and they are very helpful for information.

It was a dingy dorm building. I often felt unsafe living there. The fire alarm would quite often go off in the middle of the night forcing me to spend 20 minutes in the cold at 4 o’clock in the morning waiting to be let inside again. This should never happen because sleep is valuable when receiving any education.
