Sigma and West lodge are located in the front when you enter the college they are the closest to academics but farthest from the beach and the cafe. It is the only dorm that has private bathrooms in each room and a cleaning crew that comes around weekly. It is similar to apartment style and has a. very nice outside seating area.

I love the community feel. There are various resources available posted throughout the halls and thus increases inclusiveness. They are apartment style lodging areas and this also provides first hand experience when renting out your first apartment. Mandatory quiet hours and occasional group study session (sometimes hosted by the Residential Advisors) was extra helpful when help was needed. Overall, there were some kink here and there, but in rhe grand scheme of things, I applied to live there again for the upcoming year and would absolutely recommend to a friend. Definitely worth the experience.

Our neighbors are usually respectful and there usually isn't too much going on in the building. Sigma and West are located really close to the academic quad and Starbucks, which is really nice, but it's a relatively long way from the beach and Kappa. The biggest issue is probably that the transformer will occasionally explode during storms, leaving us without power or wifi for a bit, but they tend to fix it relatively fast. The road is pretty loud at all hours of the day, but as long as you aren't a light sleeper, it's not that bad. They are large pet friendly and people will definitely let you pet their cats or dogs if you ask nicely. Overall, it's a decent place to live on campus and is far less expensive than most of the other housing complexes.

West Lodge is probably the best value on campus. It might be the farthest from activity hubs (like the main cafe), but it's the closest to most of the academic buildings. You also get your own bathroom with your roommates, and it gets cleaned by staff once a week. The rooms are small, especially in a triple, and it's very close to the road so there's a lot of car noise, but it's not that bad once you get used to it. It's also the closest to the Starbucks on campus.

Living in the easy access room helped greatly when I broke my ankle. The maintenance staff are super kind, efficient, and non-invasive. There have been some random people who walk from the bus stop over to our dorm but they've been harmless. My roommates and I love our room and our RA, as well as the short path to the CEC caf.

Its bad but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. The distance from the rest of campus is a bit annoying but the CEC cafe is nextdoor and thats something. The lack of common room in sigma is also really annoying. theres a common room but it hadnt been updated since the 80s and very much looks like it. The common area in west lodge is better and at least has something resembling a kitchen. However, living in sigma is at least a good conversation starter and its nice living with other freshmen
