Tyler Hall Dorm Reviews at East Carolina

it’s been amazing. the lobby area is nice and you have enough room in your room to put whatever you may like. however the elevators are iffy at times but tyler hall has a kitchen for you to cook in which is a plus.

My dorm hall experience wasn’t too bad. There were a lot of fire alarms that would randomly go off at 3am and mold infested air conditioning. Overall the experience wasn’t too bad. I do wish that they would fix the significant mold issue though.

I personally liked staying at Tyler Hall because all of the staff were very friendly, the dining hall is right beside it, and the bathrooms were pretty big. I do feel that it could improve on safety of the elevators in the hall and could also use an update in the lobby so that it is more inviting.

The building is old, so I didn't expect much from it, but besides my noisy floormates (which I or the residence hall can not control), the optimal location to the shuttle stop and the dining hall worked in its favor. Yes the building is old and the rooms are small, but overall I really liked my time there.

It was okay. The ac was broken in our room and the elevator didn't work most of the time. Other than that it was pretty good. The people were nice and so was the staff. The bathrooms were clean and very well taken care of.
