Adams and Woods Hall Dorm Reviews at Embry-Riddle

My experience at Adams Hall so far has been a good one. You'll meet a variety of new people and have fun with the people on your floor. The only main issue is elevators, one elevator is always broken. Stairs are available and it's quicker to use them than to wait for the elevator.

Adams and Woods Hall has been a very overwhelming experience the first week. It all looks very nice in the commons area but it is quite large and in order to take the bridge that leads to the campus, you have to take the second floor. I just find it a little odd that I have to go to a random floor to take the bridge. Other than that though, the rooms themselves are very nice however living with 3 people definitely can feel suffocating. The rooms are built for two people and that is very emphasized with the presence of only 2 closets. Also having a bunk bed and another single raised bed gives off that impression. However despite this, the bathrooms are in so much better condition compared to many other state colleges and for that, I am truly grateful. The building itself is very well-maintained and clean which is a big plus but I did have to mop up my room the first time. Best of all, for the building being a freshman-only building and regarded as the "worst", it certainly doesn't feel that way. I am very satisfied with Adams and Woods Hall.

I am just an incoming Freshman so I have not been here long, but my overall experience has definitely been a positive one. The rooms are a little tight but I also am in a 6 person suite with 3 people per room with a common bathroom in the middle.

Out of the select few amount of affordable living areas, Adams is definitely one of the best options. It's a little further away from campus compared to the new resident building which just means more walking but if you have a scooter or stakeboard its not a big deal. The first floor of the student village has a laundry room and C-store. Sometimes the machines in the laundry room break or simply don't work it's not that big of a deal since there are so many but when you're in a time crunch it can really suck. The overall experience at Adams Hall was good. Depending on the people and which floor you get it can be more party-oriented or study focused.

I had some fun times. There was a period where the bathroom wasn't cleaned by the staff but we managed. Cleaning isn't that hard. I liked the location because I felt separated from the main part of campus, which could be a downside for some.

I absolutely loved my experience. Everyone was super respectful,I have always felt my needs were met. The halls as well and the rooms were clean and very nice and equipped to live in. I would definitely live in them again.

A good place to meet new friends with similar interests as me. Clean and quiet when in quiet hours. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly and it never smells bad. I love my room and suitemates. The housing contract was easy to fill out
