The first floor of New Hall 1 is usually very quiet. It's about a 5 minute walk to the student union and it takes me about 10 minutes to get to class. There are several study rooms on each of the floors and there is even conference rooms for bigger study sessions. I have had a very nice experience in New Hall 1 so far
