Atlantic Park Towers Dorm Reviews at FAU

So far my experience has been better than I expected. Depending on the type of room you choose having your own space is great. The only thing is that the walls are thin. Nonetheless it is still clean.

The common areas are nice and wide open. Easy directory of access in and out of the building. Inside the rooms are clean and has a lot of quality space. Comfortable and chill feeling. Overall, it’s a great hall to be in with what it comes and the location is convenient.

While APT did have a sleeker, more modern appearance, it lacked the comfort other dorms provided. IVA North and South provide comfort and ways to may your own food. APT is more of a hotel than a "home." My "suite" had space for a fridge and even a stove! However, the design decisions that were made left us with an empty, fridge-sized space, and a counter that had so much potential. I feel FAU needs more dorms similar to IVA and UVA. Given more students the option to cook from their dorms and save money. Give more students the bigger, more stable beds. Lastly, give us bigger parking lots!!!! You accept so many students, but give them no place to park their cars!
