Southern Pines Dorm Reviews at Georgia Southern

For my first time living away from any family or relatives living at southern pines was a very good experience despite its lack of cleanliness. I joined the RLC program which housed me with students with the same major as me and that was honeslty the best decision i decided to make in college.

My experience at southern pines was a great one. I met friends that I still have as a senior from living in southern pines. Southern pines is close to campus but is out the way as well. The apartments are not indoors and there are a lot of trees near so bugs might be a problem. However, besides that I believe it is one of the best on campus housing at Georgia Southern.

Its very fun and makes you want to come back. I have a good time there I have met a lot of people there and I plan to meet more. Everyone there is loving and careful. It is right by the stadium and I am a huge football fan.

I think it was one of the nicer dorms on campus. I had my own room and a full sized bed. I got along with my dormmates. However there was a lot of bugs. We would occasionally encounter large roaches but we kept our dorm clean.

Southern Pines was a pretty good starter dorm for freshman but I would not advise living there after that. The sinks in the "kitchen" are very tiny and the counter space is not great. However, as a freshman you will have a meal plan so it may not be a huge issue.

Not the nicest place but great for an old dorm. Staff had an ra for everyone. Good location to a bus stop and to walk many different places on campus. Parking spots for students who drive and have a car.

It is a quick walk to the stadium if you enjoy football. It is still close enough to campus to make walking to classes easy and quick. Only problem I had is when it rained the lower half of the parking lot floods and you basically have to wade to class.

Southern Pines was my first Residence Hall experience at Georgia Southern. It was apartment styled so it made me (a freshman at the time) feel more like an adult and independent. It was also a four bedroom so I was fortunate enough to not have to share my room with anyone.

My experience at Southern Pines has been pretty good. The staff is wonderful. They are very helpful, and I’m always getting emails about important and fun things happening at our dorms. It is also a clean area which is nice to have.

I have been there for 4 months now and so haven’t experienced any problems with any one who live in the dorm. I wish the staff would clean the laundry better but everything else is fine. Only bad thing I have experienced is my scooter being stolen.

Were had to live in dorms as freshman, it was not bad for just one year but definitely didn't want to stay longer than I had to. The staff were nice enough but if you inconvenienced them they made sure you were aware of it.

Southern Pines is right next to the fraterinety and sorority houses so you will often hear them late at night. I enjoy living here I don't hear any of my neighbors the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The living area I also nice. It's one of the cheapest dorms here I would recommend living here
