Paul Hall Dorm Reviews at Gettysburg

My experience was positive, the rooms are big but there is not a lot of storage space. The best location on campus. It can get super hot during summer so you should ask for an AC. There is no kitchen and the showers are not the bests.

Living in Paul had its fair share of difficulties. While its central location to classrooms, dining, and the CUB was ideal, I found the quality of the housing itself to be entirely lackluster. There is no A/C and the thin walls led to many overly noisy and stressful nights. Unlike other freshman housing, the common areas do not have any stove/kitchen areas available either. Unless you are lucky to have a good group of hall mates, you will most likely find yourself agitated with the lack of respect from others in the building. Many nights, people would trash the hall by leaving garbage on the floor, vomiting, or even ruining bathroom and door signs. The noise level was always out of control as well and it was very difficult to avoid the stresses of partying on weekends. Also, something else of note is that for all housing on campus, there is no way of accounting for off-campus visitors or guests who enter the building. This made me feel unsafe at times with no way of accounting for strangers who could be staying in the building.
