Sandbridge Hall Dorm Reviews at Mason

Sandbridge Hall's location on campus is amazing when compared to other dorm's distance from the center of campus. Prior to my current upperclassmen housing, I chose to live in an apartment in Liberty Square. It was nice except for how far of a walk it was from all my classes. I like Sandbridge a lot more than I do some of the other dorms on campus for this reason.

Sandbridge is a great upperclassmen dorm. They have great central heating and ac. It also is always very clean. The singles in the suites are decent size and have an average closer. I would recommend 10/10

It's a good dorm that's located near the center of campus so everything is within a short walking distance compared to the other on campus neighborhoods. Due to COVID the dorm did close off all of the common areas on each floor, but I lived in the same dorm last year and they were great for hanging out with my friends to watch shows and play Smash Ultimate. The only downside is that the walls don't block out everything, so you could hear someone playing their instrument at 2am in the morning and every now and then, when the common rooms were open, someone would leave a mess, but you can't control people.

I actually live in Blue Ridge but there was no option for so I chose Sandbridge because it's connected to it. My overall experience was very pleasant. My suitemates were very nice and my CA was very helpful.

My experience at Sandbridge Hall was an enjoyable time aside from suitemate issues. Within my suite, I shared a room with two other females and also two other female single dorm residents, who each had a room of their own. Residing within this residence hall was relatively peaceful and hardly any hallway noise rarely reaches the room. The only noise one will most likely hear is the suitemate even if they are using their 'indoor voice' next door since the walls are thin. The hallways and community spaces are kept cleaned everyday by Mason cleaning staff every morning. Bathrooms are cleaned by members within the suite and not the Mason staff since the bathrooms are not public. The location of Sandbridge Hall is perfect considering that it is right near the center of the campus where all classes buildings reside in as well as many campus dining locations.
