Holton Hooker Dorm Reviews at GVSU

Being a cluster-style dorm, you have a more spacious living area. Being in Holton-Hooker is one of the best decisions I have ever made because I have found some of my best friends, just by going to rooms and asking for a room tour. Although the first three weeks had their crazy moments, I wouldn't change where I live.

I chose the Holton hooker dorms because I wanted the dorm experience while also feeling like I have more space than a box. Those dorms provided me with more than enough space in one room for 3 people. The ceilings are so tall you can stand on your lofted bed and still not touch. The common areas a good place I liked to take phone calls so I could have privacy away from my room mates. The bathrooms were communal but with it being so new it helped give me that dorm college experience I always wanted.

I did like living at HH, except towards the end of the semester, the bathrooms weren't cleaned for 2 weeks, so there was no toilet paper in either of the stalls on one end of the halls. The walls were very thin and not soundproof at all, as I had a very loud neighbor who would play loud music until 1 or 2am.
