Niemeyer East and West Dorm Reviews at GVSU

Last year I stayed in Murray, Niemeyer is a lot better than Murray. Murray constantly smelled bad, there was trash everywhere, and the stairs were sticky. Not in Niemeyer, Niemeyer is a lot cleaner!!!

The apartment dorms provide a different experience, having your own space allows a less stress-filled environment. In addition, the common space within the dorm gives another space for you and your dormmates.

My experiece there was extremely good. I loved the spacious room, and the quiet atmospehere was ideal for studying. There were many open rooms and spaces around the building that were perfect to study in. There were some accesability issues such as the elevator being out of service for months which made moving things up to the room difficult and also not very convenient for handicapped individuals.

It was a wonderful living experience. Having my own bedroom was really nice. My RA was amazing. They plan lots of activities for the students who live there. I had no bad experiences there. The only downside was that the band practiced early in the morning at the beginning of the year right outside my window. Everyone there was very nice but it was very quiet... The honors college students are very focused on their education, it was incredibly nice having them around to help with homework if I ever got stuck.

I really enjoyed living here at Niemeyer, it is always super clean and has really nice rooms. The space in the bedrooms along with the common area is very comfortable. There are also a lot of activities out on in this building which is nice during the winter.

Living here is amazing, especially having separate bedrooms, along with bathrooms and a kitchen in each dorm. It is quiet a majority of the time spent there, making it a great studying environment, with plenty of space for your belongings and to relax.

Niemeyer was a quiet building with very friendly and respectful students. The rooms are big with a full kitchen, living area, and two bathrooms which allow for a very enjoyable semester. The staff was very helpful and when every there was an issue they were always quick to get it fixed.
