The Men's Residential College (MRC) is peaceful as long as you are not assigned a dorm next to the laundry room. Within the laundry room that is shared among all-male freshman, there are 4 washers and dryers. The washers can become loud if a screw becomes loose which happens quite often. Additionally, longer than average shower curtains have to be bought upon arrival, otherwise, water will get out of the shower and soak the floor. Contrastingly, there is a peaceful courtyard within the building that creates a calming atmosphere. Moreover, the dorms are furnished to the average dorm furnishing.
