Mcewen Dorm Reviews at HPU

My roommate and I were on the third floor and we had the most beautiful view of water fountains and flowers from our windows. We could see three water fountains from our room and the infinity garden sat just feet away from our building. We had a very clean dorm hall and bathrooms because the staff would come through and clean as well take the trash every morning around six o'clock. The staff was also very nice if you were to run into them in morning. It's a pretty quiet dorm hall except for the weekends which is expected at college. Rules are set for quiet hours and all followed for the most part. If there was a bit of commotion at night, a quick conversations with the girls would fix it. We were all understanding and considerate of one another. The girls in the hall were very sweet and became my friends throughout the year. It was an amazing dorm hall for my first year.

Living there, it was clean and well maintained, a great starter dorm building for Freshmen women at High Point University. Usually very quiet as well, there were no problems with the building or the safety. Depending on the location of your room, you either shared a bathroom as a Suite style or on a hall, either way, I have never had any problems or have heard of any problems with the bathrooms or the bedrooms. Single rooms are available for extra prices for students, but the kind of room I was located in was a two-person bedroom with a bathroom separating the other side where two others lived. The quality of that room really depends on your roommates and suitemates but the quality of the rooms and bathrooms alone is more than satisfactory.

My experience at McEwen has been amazing. The friends and bonds that I have created is awesome. Our doors are very clean, the students are very respectful of others and we focused on getting a good education.
