Hines Hall Dorm Reviews at ISU

I didn't expect the comfort and accessibility I would get staying here. After moving out of the newly renovated freshmen dorms, I thought it was a bit of a downgrade. Hines hall is conveniently located by class room buildings and is connected to the Hulman Center. So you're close by everything. Since moving in, its been very quiet, no noise. Plus these rooms have bathrooms and a bit more space than the freshmen dorms. It feels like a hotel or apartment. Hines Hall is a good dorm and I would recommend it to a friend.

the dorm is clean, well staffed, and is in a nice location on campus. the dorm is next to starbucks and close to the rec center on campus. one thing I did not like in this dorm is how the elevator keeps breaking down.

So far, due to the virus there are some things I can't experience like the common areas or allowing outside guests in my dorm. It was very disappointing to come into a dirty room the very first day I moved in. The toilet was dirty, stains were on the curtains and the air vent was covered in filth. Spending so much money for a dirty room wasn't ideal at all. Luckily, I made a work order, and the staff were able to fix everything that was wrong.
