Evans Hall Dorm Reviews at Indiana Wesleyan

Evans was a decent dorm. Plenty of space and lots to do. It was pretty easy to get the room you wanted as well as the roommate you wanted. They always did dorm events like a bible study or s’mores by the fire. It was overall a decent experience.

Evans Hall is great if you are looking for community and social life within dorm life. From unit activities to whole hall activities there are plenty of ways to get involved! I absolutely loved living in Evans and so excited to be apart of staff next year to help bring in that community aspect even more.

I have loved my experience at Evans & the relationships I have built so far my freshman year in the residential halls alone. I love the community here & the events Evans hosts even during the pandemic.

One thing that I love about Evans is the community. The staff, RAs, RD, and everyone on the different floors make a genuine effort to get to know you and spend time with you. Even with everything that is happening with Covid, they are still making that effort to foster community while still maintaining our health and safety.

Evans is a great place to live on campus. Parking is pretty good compared to the other dorms on campus. The people are super nice and always willing stop and talk to you. Residents only share a bathroom with up to three other people and there are free washers and dryers at the end of the hall.

It was a family like experience that made me feel at home. It has been my favorite place to live in my college experience. I worked on staff and loved the people I worked with. I felt cared about and valued to be there.

I love living in Evans!! The people who live in my hall and my RA are so fun and kind! We have plenty events with our hall to give us the opportunity to meet people and have fun! Evans is also very nicely placed on campus, which allows me to have a nice short walking distance to classes. I also love my dorm and living in my dorm space, I have plenty of space and love my set up!

There are a lot of friendly people here at Evans. The RA's and RD make it an effort to get the halls together to do something entertaining, such as painting or having unit dinners. One thing that is not so fun are the amount of bugs that can be found (or heard) in the room. Other than that, there is not much to complain about. It is relatively close to most buildings, a maximum of a 5 to 7 minute walk.
