Stephenson Hall Dorm Reviews at IUP

I love my experience at Stephenson hall. Everyone here is great! The staff and all the resident assistants are great. Our dorms are very nice and we get provided with a lot. It is very clean and it is also just a fun place to be.

A comfortable place to live when away from home. The cleanliness issue is more of the students fault than the buildings staff. They do their best, but students can be ignorant to their shared surroundings.

Stephenson Hall was a great first place to experience dorm living. I lived on the first floor, yet rarely ever heard noise from the people living above me. The walls are also thick enough that you don’t have to hear the students living next to you or walking in the halls when trying to sleep or study. The rooms are a good size, and you only have to share a bathroom with your roommate(s). There is also a basketball court located right outside the doors of Stephenson that many students would take advantage of during the warmer months. The walk to the dining hall is a little farther than others, but when the weather is nice it is not too bad.

Overall, my experience was good. The only issue I had was the noise level above me. The distance to the dining hall was alittle farther than I liked, especially when the weather wasn’t good. Other than that, I was satisfied with the dorm.

Stephenson Hall 2016-2017 provided me with the best space to make new friends and complete my work. I was able to work silently in quiet rooms or hang out with friends in the hawk's nest common areas.

It is nice for the most part. Having a private bathroom and bedroom is really nice. However, the trash is only changed on weekdays so on the weekends the trash room can get messy. Neighbors can be loud sometimes but the RA will tell them to quiet down when necessary.

I love it ! It’s nice and clean . The people who stay there are very friendly . It’s close to other places on campus . I’ve never had any complaints or issues . I highly recommend students to stay here .

honestly, my experience at Stevenson hall has been quite nice I always have my window and catch a nice breeze, and when I asked for something to be maintenance came by and fixed what I needed done as well as helped me connect my Xbox to the internet.
