John Brown University Dorm Reviews

I have really enjoyed my time in Mayfield. I'm in up old and I'm with a bunch of friendly girls who love the Lord and music. The RA's are great and the room is a fine size. I like that we have our own thermostats. more

Walker Hall is a nice place to live. It appeals to some more than others. It is quite a quiet hall, it is currently only housing upper-division students which may be part of the more laid back atmosphere. The rooms are nice and they have a bathroom conjoining to another suite. It can be a really nice set-up, but you do have to clean the bathrooms and sometimes suite-mates do not contribute to the cleanliness of it. One main issue that I have with Walker Hall is the constant noise coming from the pipes. They are quite loud and can be very annoying. Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is much that can be done about it, it is just something you have to get used to. The lounges are a nice space, but there are not very many of them. There is not a lounge on each hall, which can be annoying. Walker Hall is a decent place to live at JBU if you like a more quiet atmosphere. It is located in the center of campus and has easy access to everything. Overall, Walker is a clean dorm that many students at JBU want to live in. more

It is one of the more exciting places on campus. There is never a dull moment while a person is in this place, so it can be fun when you want it and mildly destracting when you need to concentrate. It is also close to everything on campus because it is right in the middle. This is definately my favorite dorm at John Brown University. more

It has great dorm rooms, it is a little bit far from the rest of campus, but this leads to a pretty quiet place, which is great. There is a beautiful walk right behind Hutch. There are great places to do homework and they are usually pretty quiet. more

It has really nice dorm rooms, there are great places to do homework. There are places to do laundry on every floor. Most of the rooms have a bathroom shared between four people. The only downside is it is not as close as other resident halls to classes, and you walk up a hill. more
