St. George Hall at LaSalle University was more than a mere dormitory; it provided a vibrant, enriching experience that significantly influenced my college journey. From my initial entry into St. George Hall, I was greeted by an environment of camaraderie and diversity. St. George is a dog friendly dorm building (it might be the first in the country). With this my biggest gripe was the amount of dog hair everywhere and the dirt that gets tracked in. The cleaning staff do there best to keep it clean but this is hard. The old study lounge was converted to an indoor dog play area so students living in this building have to go to other residence halls to study or just hangout. This building also does not have a common kitchen and the bathrooms are quite outdated and dark. There are no elevators or air conditioning. The rooms themselves are nice with big windows that let lots of light in. I lived in this building for two years simply because it is the most quiet and closest to the entrance so it is convienent to quickly get to and out of your dorm.
