Founders Hall Dorm Reviews at Lewis

Founders Hall is overall well-maintained and designed. There is central heating during the winter but window unit A.C during summer. I would say Founders Hall is overall safe and has a good community. The only downside would be the cleanliness of the bathroom during the end of the week.

Founders Hall is a fun and very homey freshman hall. There is downsides like its an old building so the heat takes forever to kick on when its cold outside. The other is that the walls are thin so if anyone is being kind of loud you will hear them. On a more positive note the kitchen and pin pong and pool tables in the common room are good and well kept.

Founders' hall was home. Every person knew each other and there was enough common area and activities to keep everyone active in the community. We had a peer minister that lived with us and their job was to build the community and the relationships between all of the residents. Overall, the dorm culture of founder's hall was spectacular, and I will never forget my experience.

Showers have full doors and not just curtains which is nice. Rooms are really small, and every wall is cinderblock which is not the vibe. Is in the center of campus so everything is really close by. Not many first-year housing choices so can't really complain about Founders.

I was comfortable as well as the R.A. made me feel at home. The R.A. helped me out on finding the best way to setup my room in the winter since my roommate did not return back the the room. I would let any new student on how I felt about this hall.
