Schroeder Hall Dorm Reviews at Marquette

It’s a great party scene dorm, very social. If you are looking to hangout with people and build relationships this is the dorm to choose. If you are looking for a quiet dorm to relax and study I would choose elsewhere

This dorm is considered “social” because everyone is willing to meet new people. It’s not the most clean or quiet, but it definitely is worth it if you want always be around people. There are big study rooms on each floor which are used often.

Schroeder hall has overall been a great experience. The windows and light bulbs were extremely dirty and gross when we arrived. The communal bathrooms have been kept extremely clean as well as the common areas. Everyone has been good about adhering to COVID-19 dorm guidelines such as wearing a face covering and not moving beds. Although the rooms are small, they can be easily made very cozy with some nice decorations. One huge downside of Schroeder is that it has no air conditioning! Although there are typically only a few hot weeks when we are on campus, they are extremely brutal with the heat.
