Monican Center Dorm Reviews at Merrimack

My experience at Monican was a great one i met friends shortly after setting in. I started school not knowing anyone, within a couple of weeks met some cool people. I startef out in a triple toom with no roommates , right before Christmas break i had 2 new roommates we got along really well

It was an okay experience, I had a suite style room so I didn’t use communal bathrooms which was a plus. There was a good amount of black mold inside my room and more in my friends rooms which ended up making a lot of people sick.

Monican is a not so terrible to live. However the location is pretty far away from other freshmen dorms. But always walking is not so bad since it is good way to exercise even if its a couple more minutes.

As an athlete, Monican was great to live in. I drove to practice off campus, and Monican was the closest dorm available for underclassmen to the parking lot. Monican has laundry, which was important as an athlete with tons of dirty workout clothes. The campus police were located in our building so safety was never an issue. The only downside to Monican is that is it pretty far away from the academic buildings, which is not ideal in the winter. Overall, I had a pretty good experience living in Monican.

There are many students that come from different areas of the state and country. I have made many friends. I have been sick and they helped me and contacted my parents to let them know what happened. I have met many people who will be friends with for the rest of my life.
