Mary Rait Hall Dorm Reviews at Mesa

So far I have lived here only a week, but the experience has been quite pleasant. There are some things that I have noticed that are a bit odd to me, but aren't deal breakers. The walls are thin, so noise levels are higher than usual; the building has central air; the air conditioning is a little loud with a constant humming noise that can be inconsistent. Overall though, despite these cons, it is very nice living here.

I loved living in Mary Rait. It was close to the University and to my classes. I made so much friends and had a bunch of pizza parties in the common area with those who lived in the dorm. Everyone is nice, caring and thoughtful.

I absolutely loved Mary Rait Hall. Bathrooms, hallways, everything was always nice and cleaned in the morning. The walls are a little thin so you can hear other people, but most of the time no. I There was plenty of room for all of my things and the balcony was perfect. Rait is the perfect location for it's right next to the parking lot, other dorms, has a volleyball net, basketball court, and frisbee golf right next to it. The UC and Mav Center are within short walking distance as well as other classroom buildings. I highly recommend this Hall and I am looking to return to Mary Rait Hall come my sophomore year of college.

Mary Rait Hall is an older dorm building. My understanding is that it was renovated about 10 years ago. It can use some upgrades in the laundry room, common rooms, and especially the bathroom showers. Sadly with Covid we have had so many restrictions so I haven't used the common rooms. Regardless Mary Rait Hall it is a safe building in the perfect location. Overall CME is a great college and it is my privilege to attend. I am struggling with the costs of dorming/college but I appreciate living here. Since 10th grade I have wanted to attend this college. School wasn't easy form me but I did my best and made it. The financial struggle is real though and receiving $1000 would be extremely helpful and appreciated. This is my first year and I am so happy to be here.

My experience at this residence hall has been amazing! Even with COVID, we are lucky enough to be able to be in the dorms and still get the college experience. I also am grateful for balcony access because it makes for a nice spot to study!
