Dolson Hall Dorm Reviews at Millikin

I actually thought that when I visited Millikin University for the first time that Dolson Hall had the best dorms. They are extremely spacious with a walk-in closet, a sink in the dorm, and a bathroom shared between suitemates. The bathrooms and kitchens get cleaned by the staff. Dolson Hall in proximity to classes in only about a 5 min walk to the opposite side of campus. The only issue I have is that the freshman parking lot, although it is only a 5min walk, seems like the furthest walk on campus. Overall great dorm.

I love that you have your own bathroom and walk in closet. It makes everything very accessible. The laundry is right downstairs as well. Walking across to campus may be annoying sometimes but its such a small campus anyways! I love my roommate as well. I do recommend Dolson.

It is one of the better dorms that are on this campus. I had a great experience living there. The dorms come in suite style or a single all equipped with a sink in the room and a separate room for the bathroom. The laundry was accessible via elevator. Fantastic living, however you can hear noise on all six sides of the room including above and below you.

Lot of things did not work and when a work order was put in it would take weeks or two work orders to get someone to help fix it. It also has a train that goes by many times through out the day and night which is very loud. Rooms are nice and have lots of space for the 1 to 4 of you living in one area.

I had a great experience at Dolson Hall. Maintenance was done in a timely manner, bathrooms were professionally cleaned regularly, and the uniqueness of the layout of dorms and roommates was greatly appreciated.

It was very comfortable and roomy for a college dorm. The closets are large and any maintenance issues that anyone may have are resolved in a timely manner. This dorm is set up so that there are to people to a room and four people to a bathroom. There is also a slightly more expensive option where you can have a room and bathroom to yourself. However, if you do this, you may miss out on a lot of fun activities and meeting new people.
