Jim Cummings Hall

8 Reviews

I love the Jim Cummings Hall. The Residential Assistants that greet you on the way out. They also greet you when you go in. For example they say hi how are you and how’s your day. I live on the 5th Floor and I have an RA his name is Jose. He is the best RA you will ever have. Basically everyone likes him. He is a lot of fun. The Bathrooms on the other hand. The Stalls are in good shape there only one shower that will run hot water but doesn’t spray really good. The other showers hardly has hot water more

Deere Hall

I stayed at an apartment at night. Only stayed there during the day between my classes. Bathrooms were gross and so loud at night. People on our walkway were very loud as well, I was scared to be there at night. The location was great, right next to the library. more

Nice dorm for a first year student to adjust to college life. However, room space is a little small and hard to adjust all your needed belongings. Most of all the dorm is in the central location of the campus and allow for easy accessibility to other areas of campus more

Beasley Hall

Some things in the building need to be updated and fixed, they just haven't been yet, other than this, I would say that Beasley hall is in a wonderful location on campus and is very safe and quiet. Everyone gets along really well. more

Lyon Hall Complex

3 Reviews

My experience at Lyon Hall was a decent experience. I went there and my roommate was peaceful, respectful, and the only time we ever talked was when we needed something or something was going on around the building. I stayed on the first floor at Lyon hall and on the floor were two bathrooms. It was one bathroom and the other bathroom had many stalls and showers in it. I was the type of guy who liked having my own space since I didn’t have my own room. I would go to where there is an individual space. Also from time to time, I had a couple of friends who lived in Lyon with me and we would go to the basement where the TV was and we would have Bible studies, watch movies and NBA games. That was like one of the best things about the dorm that I was in, and the RA on my floor communicated with us every once in a while to do things but as far as I know we didn’t really hang out because everybody was doing their own thing. Then I had a friend on my floor who liked the same team as I did and that was cool too. more

Scarlett Commons

3 Reviews

I am an RA at Scarlett Commons. My own issue with this building is the safety we have around the buildings. Other than that, I love it! I would suggest it for anyone who wants to live on campus and have an apartment feel but also not be smack dab in the middle of all the students. more

Wood and Felder Hall

Being in a dormitory with diversity all around was an amazing experience. The residence was kept clean and safe with friendly, helpful people to assist. This particular dorm and others surrounding it, has now been replaced by a new science building. more

Monohan Hall

1 Review

I would describe the Monahan building as an old and dirty building. For example it is entirely old and the janitors do not clean the building constituently. In addition, the works are rude. My stay there was relatively quiet and nice. There is a small community and they do try to interact with one another. However, the building is still extremely overpriced and even harder to get into the building if you lose your keycard. more

Monohan Hall Complex

Students and staff seem to be nice and helpful. The elevator doesn't work half the time. This makes it hard when moving in and carrying large items upstairs. My room is on the second floor. The parking is extremely difficult certain times of the evening. The rooms are OK. My room needs new blinds. Don't mean to be negative about everything because this is my first year living in Monohan Hall. more

Womack Lane

Womack Lane is my 1st Campus apartment. I enjoy the location as it is close to the rec center. It also allows me to have my own space and own room. Overall, I have had a productive experience at Womack Lane. more

Rutledge Hall

1 Review

It is super quiet there and the cheapest place on campus. You can really see that when you move in. The building is super old and there are only two washers and dryers in the whole building, so it is a battle to get a spot. However, it is mainly upper-classmen that are pretty quiet and half of them leave on the weekend. Its good if you are looking to save money like me and can tolerate the downsides. more

Scarlette Commons

1 Review

I really like Scarlett because I have my own room but it is very far away from campus. The long walk has made me late to class in the past. It could benefit from some renovations like changing out the floors and the showers. more

The Grove Apartments Murfeesboro

Loved the area and convenience. The roommates were decent and you each had your own bathroom. Very close to the university and you were allowed to have visitors. Highly recommend these rooms for you to use while away at MTSU. more

Student Quarters

1 Review

I dreaded this at first, having to live with other people, and I am an introvert and incredibly shy. It took me a long time to open up to my dormmates, but after awhile, we started bonding. If you like to be alone, though, you have locks on each and every door. The rooms are extremely small, however, so if you like a cozy atmosphere, this will be quite perfect for you! more

Judd Hall

1 Review

My experience at Judd Hall was awesome. I made many friends that lived in my building. The noise was always perfectly quiet at all times of the day. The location was in the middle of the campus. This helped me get to all of my classes on time. Judd Hall even had events like movie night and game night. Judd Hall is a tremendous place to have a dorm at. more

Gracy Hall

Fairly quiet and comfortable. If you're looking for standard/typical dorm this isn't the dorm of choice. This is more like an on campus apartment. minuets away from Dominoes and delivery easy location. more
