Honors College Dorm Reviews at NAU

Honors College has been the perfect way for me to start my college experience. It is the nicest building on campus and has the most modernized dorms on campus. They are super comfortable to be in and have the perfect accessories to fit whatever needs you might have.

So far, I love staying at the Honors College because the great location and how clean the dorms are. It doesn't really feel like a dorm, my room feels more like a apartment. However, the AC for the whole building breaks a lot and a few of the fitness machines have been out of order for a while as well as the washer and dryer on my floor.

The communal areas were perfect and the two-person dorms offered a great amount of privacy for each roomate. I spent lots of time with friends in study areas and on weekend in game rooms. It was a pricer dorm but I was able to ultize scholarhsips.

I met a lot of great friends, it was clean, great kitchen space, recreation areas, study areas, study and meeting rooms, and great for attending in-building classes. The price was a lot, but it was a good environment.

It was amazing! I loved that I had my own space but it was still pretty affordable compared to other places es on campus. I think that my favorite part was that I was so close to my classes and it was easy to grt around.

The Honors College residence hall was beautiful and brand new when I lived there. I had a seminar course on the bottom floor, the lobby was a nice place to meet with friends, the lounges were always clean (except you do not want to read the NAU Confessions pages for what may have gone on in there). Some of my best college memories were hosting Saturday pancake breakfasts in the community kitchen. The Honors College hall was one of the first on-campus residence halls to have card entry and it was centrally located, especially for a science major. I'm not sure how it may have changed now, but I would definitely recommend it!

Very boring but nice accommodations. Having your own bathroom is very nice, the walls and floor are depressing. It is conveniently right next to your parking deck however finding a spot can be difficult.

It was built relatively recently, so it is a very nice place to live considering some of the Universities other options. In terms of food, Starbucks is right downstairs, a Chick-Fil-A and Einstein Bros is right across the way in the TTU Rawls College of Business, and it's only a 10 minute walk from Stangel Hall's dining area that offered various food options! The area was optimal for me being in the Honors college because many of the science or math classes I was taking were only a short distance from my dorm- maybe a 10 minute walk as well. Inside the Honors Hall, each floor also has a lounge and I think 4 different study pods that allows you some peace and quiet away from your roommate or even an area to hang out with some friends. The staff is so friendly and works very hard to keep the hall as clean as possible, remember to give them some love if you do decide to room here! Personally I loved my Honors Hall experience and would recommend it to anyone!

Do to the pandemic there wasn't much available to us within the dorms, but overall I was satisfied with my experience within them. Normally, there would be 4 people to one bathroom, however, for us it was only one or two to a bathroom which was nice, though I'm not sure how nice it would be at full capacity.

I love the Honors dorm, it is central to all of my classes. I feel safe and always have staff available to ask questions if I have them. During recent freezing weather, we never had a problem with heat or water.

I stayed in the honors college the first year it was open so I was apart of the first group to stay there. The dorm is beautiful, almost felt like I was living in a hotel. The dorm has 24 hour quiet hours so it was really quiet and nice the entire time I was there. They also have perfect think tanks for long study time. I utilized this a lot and would often stay in there for hours doing my homework.

I really like the Honors college dorms. They’re new and spacious. They’re super comfortable and clean a lot of amenities. I love having some of my classes so close right downstairs. It really is a nice close knit community within the bigger university community. I also love having the parking garage right across the street! The only real complaint I have is the distance from the dining hall and other university facilities.

The Honors College at Northern Arizona University is a friendly and welcoming community. The staff treat the residents with respect and are always helpful when problems arise. The dorm has been an amazing place to live during my first year of college.

The Honors College is one of, if not, the best dorm options on the NAU campus. The rooms are very customizable and are kept very clean between uses by the staff. The personal bathrooms for you and your roommate(s) are great and it offers both heating and air conditioning. I have enjoyed my dorm room very much, and I believe that anyone else who can meet the criteria of attending the honors college will too.

It is really nice, and there is nothing to really complain about since each room has a bathroom and AC unit. I think that students should be able to have the AC on all year, but that is a minor inconvenience.

At the Honors College we are given very great amenities such as personal bathrooms, air conditioning, lounge areas, a gym, and an overall nice looking building. I have really enjoyed my dorm experience.

I love my dorm! The way the rooms are set up offer privacy for me and my roomate, and the furniture provided felt very nice and sturdy. Biggest plus for me was being able to plug my computer right in to ethernet from my desk, being that I do a lot of gaming that was a huge win!

The dorms were quite nice--the only thing to note is that, because they are still quite new, there can be issues with lights going out or other equipment not working as it should. However, the space is lovely. The dorms are relatively open, the bathroom is pretty large, and the proximity to other buildings on campus is excellent. Moreover, the sense of community that you get in the NAU Honors College is better than anywhere else on campus.

Honors college it's very nice and close to a lot of things on campus. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin. Other than that my experience was really good. The dorms are very spacious and it is great that each dorm has it's own bathroom.

My experience has overall been great at the honors college. I am living in it during the pandemic and feel that they have done a great job keeping the area safe. I would love it if they would improve the communication with the students though, as we are often told last minute when things are happening.
