Cypress Hall Dorm Reviews at New Jersey

It was a normal dorming experience. It wasn't exceptional but it wasn't terrible. The only inconvenience was the elevators because they would constantly be out of order. This would especially be tough for those living on upper levels.

I loved every minute of my Cypress Hall experience. I think high school seniors need to understand that their first dormitory experience is not going to be luxurious, you are going to feel uncomfortable, and at the same time they're going to be surrounded by hundreds maybe thousands of other students going through the same experience. So they should make the most of it, have fun, and experience new things!

My experience at Cypress hall was good. It was a very chill and enjoyable experience. Not very loud at all, was able to get my work done with no disturbances and the facilities were kept reasonably clean.

I stayed in Cypress Hall as a Freshman and it was honestly ok. Nothing much to say about it, to be honest. They have common areas on the first floor and two little rooms at the ends of each floor to read.

It was nicer than redwood for the fact the bathrooms were in the dorms instead of having to walk down the hall for a shared bathroom. Now these dorms were dirty as hell. My room in particular had puke stains on the wall and carpet when we first moved in. Redwood was cleaner and from my experience more social but it varies floor to floor.

I lived here in the first year of college. It was a great experience. The staff is very friendly. I felt I was more involved in on-campus activities when I lived here. Although it is not the cleanest, it was still nice. I would recommend all freshmen to live on campus and get yourself familiar.
