Rogers Complex Dorm Reviews at Old Dominion

I lived in Rogers complex for one semester, including two different rooms. Both rooms were stained with the smell of drugs, as was the entire building. The bathrooms were constantly getting locked from the outside, and the common areas were stale and not usable.

I am extremely happy that I had the opportunity to live in Rogers Complex. I had a great time there and a home for my first semester in college. It was a lot of fun to live in during a pandemic as we had limited opportunities to experience college life outside of the dorms.

It was a pretty good experience nothing to really complain about if you have a roommate you should room with somebody you know because you will probably not like your roommate. Something I didn't like was the walk to classes since its a little far and you can't have a microwave in these rooms.

I would say as a freshman, this is the perfect place for first years. You are literally right across the street from ODU and you have a variety of food selections to choose from. The staff is very helpful and polite, maintenance gets done in an orderly fashion and everything is just outstanding about about this place.

Rogers complex has been an amazing community!!! they have everything you need right there and it's not too expensive. I personally love my dorm room with the personal bathroom because I only have to share it with one other person.

When I first arrived I met my amazing neighbor (we shared a bathroom). She was very kind and we even helped me find the dorm. Our first semester with her and my roommate was great. I really enjoy it in rogers.

My experience at Rogers Complex has been very welcoming overall. The students are very inclusive and easy to get acquainted with. All floor meetings and questions have been easily accessible and answered. It really has been easy going!

This was my first semester in college, which means my first time living in a dorm. I had No roommate due to COVID-19, which made me feel extra safe and secure. My dorm was just as peaceful as the library, making it a great place to do my work and focus on my studies at my desk. I 100% recommend Rogers complex for those who attend Old Dominion University. I will be returning for the Spring 2020 semester!

My experience was alright. My room was always clean and the maintenance people were always available when needed. the dorm was pretty loud but the people were very friendly. The cafeteria ladies were always generous and always had a smile on their face which brightened up the entire Rogers Complex.

I love it. It wasn't my first choice but now I couldn't see myself anywhere else. The location is a good distance from everything around campus. The people in rogers are like a community. I love being able to recognize faces and have my face be recognized by the staff.

I think it was great. It really helped foster friendships that still last to this day, and I believe it to be the best dormitory I’ve had the pleasure of living in. It isn’t the best in terms of amenities, but the human experience is priceless.

It’s nice... it’s not really big, but with your roommate, you can make it feel like home. I’m satisfied about the environment. I don’t have any bad review to write about Rogers... I like it and I would recommend someone staying here, especially if it’s their first year.

I met some really good friends there, and made a lot of memories. Rogers is a part of those memories now and I'm glad I got to stay there. The RA's are very helpful and the cafeteria staff are wonderful, they made my experience much more enjoyable.

Is a petty nice place, close to the road easy to get access to food.A nice place to relax and watch the river at the back of your dorm.the bathroom is small but it will do very quite place and a very good environment.
