Moving into Adams Hall at Ohio University was exciting but nerve-wracking. My roommate and I immediately hit it off over our love for true crime podcasts, which made settling in easier. The first few weeks were a blur of getting to know people on my floor, everyone was super friendly and eager to make connections. We had fun events organized by our RA, like Pizza and Paint Night, where we all painted random things and laughed at how terrible our art was. It was a great way to bond with new friends. The location of Adams Hall is fantastic; it is close to classes, dining, and the Baker University Center. I loved walking around campus, especially in the fall with all the colorful trees. However, sharing a bathroom with the entire floor took some getting used to, and the rooms are small, but thatβs typical dorm life. Overall, living in Adams Hall has been a great experience. The sense of community is strong, and Iβve met so many awesome people. Itβs not perfect, but itβs home for now, and itβs been a huge part of my first-year journey.

Adams Hall is a very nice dorm hall. My only complaint is the lack of nice lounge areas as compared to its neighbors on South Green. The front four has much more to offer in regards to study areas, comfy furniture, community feels, etc.
