Unfortunately True House was overflow housing, and it very much felt like it. There were many instances where the water would get turned off, and when it wasnโ€™t off, it was freezing. The building is old so issues like mold and things falling apart were common. I personally had mold on my door, many of my floor tiles came off the groups, and it smelled old. Also it was a good 20 minute walk from many of my classes and court street. It was close to ping rec center, Nelson dining hall, and the new hammock park. Luckily, the girls I lived with became my best friends and that made living there worth it for me. Although we had many maintenance issues and other struggles, we struggled together and made the most of it.
