Washington Hall Dorm Reviews at Ohio University

I am currently a senior Resident Advisor in the Washington/Read complex and it has been the best experience. The staff is incredible, the community is welcoming, and the facilities/amenities are kept up with.

I stayed in Washington Hall last spring and was roommates with a girl I had never met before. Half way through the semester she tells me that she is getting a dog and that she will be picking him up a week later. I immediately knew that this situation was not going to work out very well so I requested a room change. I emailed the RD and it took him a few days to respond so I went to his office to see if there was anything he could do about it. He told me that I would have to be the one to move. It then took him another few days to find me a room in a completely different building. Not a good experience!
