SHIPHERD HALL Dorm Reviews at Olivet

I loved living in Shipherd Hall it gave me an experience to get to know people I would of never met. The dorm is also Co-ed giving you a chance to live around everyone you get a suite style room so you, your roommate, and two other people of the same gender share one bathroom so you are responsible to keep your space clean.

Overall, I had a very good time at my college. I made lots of new friends even with the Covid epidemic. I thought that the dorm was overall very clean, even though the rooms are quite small. The maintenance was very nice and welcoming. Everyone was very friendly and made my first semester of college, even under these uncertain times, a blast. The staff and everyone at college also did a good job at keeping the Covid protocols and made campus a much safer place.

Shippard is always full of friends and has allowed me to walk to class very fast due to being next to the main education building plus it is the only dorm in Olivet with Air Conditioning. And it allows me to work on my homework while being able to conversant with my roommate.

Overall a great experience! I love it here. You have a roommate along with 2 suit-mates. There is a bathroom shared between the four of you. The bathrooms must be cleaned by the residents. All hallways and common areas are cleaned by staff often.
