Harstad Hall Dorm Reviews at PLU

Harstad is an amazing and inclusive community which provides fun activities and quiet, calm place to live. It is the front of campus and is between the library and the cafeteria. Harstad is a female-identified and gender non-conforming residence hall so there are no male-identified residents living there. It is filled with wonderful people and interesting history since it was actually the original college back in 1890.

Harstad Hall is a very good Hall to stay in at Pacific Lutheran University. I am a freshman and have really enjoyed staying here over the last semester. It has great staff and a great location on campus.

I love living in Harstad because of the location and the people there. It is the oldest building on campus so of course it isn't the nicest or fanciest dorms but I've lived there for two years now and really love it.

I love Harstad, it's in the center of the AUC, the library, and Red Square which makes it very easy to get to some of the most visited areas on campus. The RAs are extremely nice and doing their best to help out residents during COVID. It's an old building that has a lot of cool things. Because it's so old it can get very hot and be a lil creepy but I think the good things about it outweighs the bad by a ton.

Harstad Hall is a women-only dorm. Because the dorm is really old, the soundproof is really bad. You can hear people walking and talking in their room, especially the footsteps from the room above you.
