Klassen Hall Dorm Reviews at PLNU

Klassen is a beautiful dorm with ocean view rooms. The common areas are decent, and there's a kitchen which is a great ammenity, however the cleanliness of the kitchen is not up to par because students choose to not clean up after themselves or follow residential rules. The dorm is typically hot, but at night during fall and winter it gets to be fairly chilly.

Overall, I loved living in Klassen. It is not super far away from everything, which is always nice. The bathrooms just got renovated last summer, so they are now very nice. The main floor common room is also updated, but the third floor one is not. My biggest issue was that third floor common room, which is in desperate need of new carpeting and couches. A big plus is that Klassen has a full kitchen (also a little outdated), which many other dorms do not have.

Klassen was always noisy. Someone was always screaming at 2am. Klassen is screaming for a remodel. All five showers share one drain, so everyones hair balls up in the middle to make a disgusting hair monster.

Arguably one of the best dorms in the United States. Ocean-view rooms within walking distance of the beach. This dorm, and campus are located in one of the most beautiful locations in the world (San Diego), right on the beach, close to classes and dining.

Imagine this, you wake up and roll over to see the sun rising, gleaming through your window with the ocean right outside. Your friends are right next door and easy to run over there for a morning chat and coffee. The showers occasionally have sand in them but its fine since you were surfing at the beach all day. The dorm rooms may be a bit small for your and your roommate but it works since you aren't really in them anyways. Make your dream become a reality!
