Snyder Dorm Reviews at Penn State

Compared to some of the other dorm halls that I've visited, Snyder is definitely more tame. The bathrooms can be tough to deal with, especially if you wake up early before the cleaning crew does daily maintenance. Although the noise has never been too loud, and that is a huge plus, especially when it comes to studying and test taking. Overall, I would recommend living at Snyder if you're looking at the East dorms.

Snyder Hall is one of the unrenovated dorms that are apart of East, so it doesn't include AC or your own bathroom. In my opinion, I wouldn't really recommend this just for this basic reason. However, the atmosphere is a great for a first-year student since most freshman live there and it's a great way for freshman to make friends. So, if you want to meet new people, then I would recommend choosing Snyder.

I made the most of my dormitory experience at Snyder Hall. There was a lot of construction surrounding the dormitory and it was the farthest freshman dorm from classrooms which made it inconvenient. However, it was located right next to the campus gym and located surrounded by a great community of other students which I loved.
