Overlook overall is a beautiful dorm, with nice views and a hotel-like living style. It is however, very difficult to ignore the flaws of the dorm, with its concrete walls, dirty furniture, and constant issues with leaks and clogged sinks. After finally moving in, on my first day of living in overlook, i found a roach in between my brand new comforter and the new blanket i had folded earlier. My suitemates and I share a living room style common room, and had to purchase couch covers, but ended up finding used boys underwear underneath the cushions of the couch. My sink was clogged and would drain extremely slowly, as the water built up continuously, and was clogged the day of move in. My suit mates had their air conditioner leak to the floor below us, and my roommate and I had a used shower curtain provided to us upon move in. Overall, the views of living in overlook are gorgeous if you love nature, but if you hate living in uncomfortable conditions, do not live in overlook.
