Tinsley Hall Dorm Reviews at Rutgers

Tinsley is a great Freshman year dorm as it is central to College Ave campus. The location is great however the College Ave dorms are all very old and in need of renovations. The bathrooms can also improve with a better design.

Tinsley Hall is really what you make of it. I really enjoyed the location being near the bus stop and so many facilities and food areas. It is also a just a quick walk to the Yard. It is on the busiest campus so the noise levels can be a bit distracting or overwhelming but its not terrible terrible. Its also a good dorm for first years in my opinion because it is in the center or everything

I had a great freshman year in Tinsley. People would hang in common rooms, there were a lot of events happening in and around the hall to win prizes, get to know people, or participate in fun activities!

Tinsley was a freshman dorm, so it was kind of dirty and loud all the time, but the definition of the college experience Pell is nicer, cleaner, better bathrooms, etc. Unforgettable fun times living in both dorms

I met a lot of wonderful people in this hall. Tinsley was great as a location, but like any freshman dorm, it was also a mess most of the time. So many drunk students would leave the bathrooms and common areas a mess, which made it really difficult to be comfortable or study in our dorms.
