Seagull Square at Salisbury University holds a special place on campus. As the heart of the campus, it serves as a lively and communal space for students, faculty, and visitors. Walking through the square, I was immediately struck by the mixture of open space, seating areas, and vibrant student activity. It's a place where students often gather between classes to relax, study, or catch up with friends. The surrounding buildings, which include academic and student services, create a sense of connectedness and convenience. One of the most noticeable features of Seagull Square is its design, with benches and well-kept greenery offering a peaceful atmosphere amidst the bustling student life. Itβs not unusual to see students sitting in the sun, studying or simply enjoying the outdoors. The square is also known for hosting various student events and performances, which always add energy to the space. During my time there, I enjoyed the variety of people I encounteredβfrom those attending campus events to students grabbing a quick bite from the nearby food trucks. Seagull Square truly embodies the spirit of Salisbury University: lively, inclusive, and a central hub for campus life. Itβs a spot that makes you feel connected to the university community.

I really like the fact that we get our own individual bedrooms. The location is close enough to the library and Student Commons, which I love. I also love that the distance of everything encourages me to walk more. The trees make a lot of shade when it's hot, and more breathable. They're very beautiful to look at, and smell very fragrant when it rains.

I lived in Sea Gull Square for 2 years (my Sophomore and Junior years). I at first. lived on the 5th floor with no noise complaints then moving down a floor you can hear everything. Very thin walls and floors so be sure to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.

Sea Gull Square is one of the best places to live on campus. A once run down hotel turned into an apartment styled college dorm makes the SU experience great. I lived there for a year so far and will return there no question. Although the only downside it is a little pricey opposed to other on campus living areas, but in this case you pay for what you want. I would recommend it to other students.

It is great. You get to live with your friends and make new ones as well. There are many places where you can hang out with friends, in the common areas and outside where there are benches, volleyball courts, and an open field. The walls are not too thin, meaning that you do not have to listen to other people and what they are doing. There are always quiet spots you can find if you are in need of studying or getting time to yourself.

I have lived at Seagull during the pandemic and I have found that it is a safe, clean and positive living environment. While the social aspect of living on campus has been drastically altered due to Covid 19 protocols it has been great to have my βpodβ easily accessible because we are apartment mates.
