Dew Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Sweet Briar

I enjoyed living in Dew my first year. It was conveniently close to Prothro Dining hall and the post office. Most of my first-year classes were very close to this dorm so it was very easy to get to class. The downside of this dorm is that it is further away from the Fitness and Athletic Center and the Guion Science center.

Dew Residence Hall was not in use in my first year and it got renovated be used as a dormitory my Sophomore year. It is extremely near to the Post Office, the dining hall, and also pretty much in the middle of the campus where reaching to certain academic buildings is not a hustle at all. I have been living here for the past two years and I would not want to live in any other building on campus.

During my time at Sweet Briar College, I lived in Dew my Freshman and Senior years. I enjoyed both rooms that I lived in. They were the perfect size for me. My freshman year I lived in a quad and my senior year I lived in a single. The location of Dew on Sweet Briars campus is optimal. It is centrally located and has access to both upper and lower quad as well as being close to academic buildings. The only downside to living in Dew is the walk to the parking lot to get to your vehicle. I lived on the side of the building that was closest to upper quad and therefore it could be noisy at times, but overall it was nice. It was also nice to be near the edge as most nights I would get back to my room late so I wouldn't have to bother people when I entered the dorm. A downside to that however is I lived on the side of the building opposite to the bathroom so I would always have to walk through the entire hallway to brush my teeth, etc. late at night.
