Tenochca Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at SDSU

Dorms at Tenochca are mostly new and renovated. I've never had an issue with the A/C system and everything is kept clean, for the most part. Tenochca offers lots of resources and study/common areas for students. The dorm hosts free events and entertainment for students, in order to provide them with a break from their studies.

Tenochca is where I began my collegiate journey. It became my first real experience away from home and where I met my best friends. I felt connected to those who lived here and accepted by those who worked there. My dorm hall became a family and I long for the simpler days in Tenochca Hall.

This was my first dorm experience and I would say it was a good one! Yes, you had to use a community bathroom, but they were kept clean. We had a floor RA that was so nice and always putting on fun holiday activities to make it feel like home. The rooms were decent size with great furniture and are always fun to decorate with your own stuff when you arrive. The dorms are a great way to meet new people and have experiences you would not have living off campus.

I had amazing RA's and staff willing to help with any problems. The bathrooms and rooms weren't the best but I was in a triple. I would definitely recommend a double because these rooms are small and aren't fit for three people. I hated the bathrooms, communal is just can be messy. The community though was one of the best I loved everyone in my dorm.
