Zura Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at SDSU

I feel that my experience was an overall good one at Zura. There were a few bumps in the road though. For instance, the hot water went out a few times. I met a lot of good friends there and loved the location.

Zura is a well maintained residence hall in SDSU campus. It is located close to dining hall, parking lot and convenient store. Rooms are decent size. There are several common areas and study room through out the building. There is roof top seating, where students can hangout and relax.

Was a very social atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The RAs were really helpful. There are only two elevators to service the building which made move in/out days very difficult. Biggest drawback was the mailroom and frequently lost mail.

The overall safety of the building is pretty great on the surface but there's easy ways to sneak people in from the back or side doors. The kitchen is a pretty great asset but the lobby area definitely need more frequent and through deep-cleaning. The couches are gross. Everything else is great!
