Merick Hall Dorm Reviews at Southeast

The food at merick hall is pretty much non-existent. If you want some actually decent tasting food you would have to walk to the university center. That's my only issue with merick. Other than that I quite enjoyed living there. People who live in the dorms can get quite noisy at night but they do have after hours you can call and "quiet hours" that are posted. I had a room that overlooked the football stadium and games so it was nice to watch them from my room. However, Merick is really far from preety much every class you have to go to.

I was in Merick this spring and I absolutely loved my experience there. Amazing study halls, beautiful common area and amazing staff. The basement where we have the laundromat is also very clean with wending machines. The food in the main floor is also very good. The houck stadium is also just behind the hall. I would hundred ten percent recommend it to somebody.

Merick Hall overall has been a great place to call a second home. It is very dark and limited in the shower area along with several students complaining of mold in the vents. I will continue to reside in Merick Hall during my time here at SEMO.
