Sauvignon Dorm Reviews at Sonoma State

The dorms were so big, we had basically an apartment, 4 rooms, 6 girls total (2 girls in one big room, 2 girls in another, then 1 girl in a single, and another girl in a single) and a shared kitchen and living room. It was very spacious, and every room had its own bathroom as well. I loved it. The location was a short walk away from everything, it was super close to the cafeteria, campus and the rec. As a freshman, the location was prime, it was close to everything! The trees there are gorgeous, they change colors during the fall and create a gorgeous view in Sauv.

The dorms were clean and rooms were overall a good size, except for the bathrooms and closets. The single dorms had better bathrooms, the double rooms seemed to have smaller bathrooms for some reason. The living room was large but the furniture was typical dorm room bland furniture. There was a balcony/patio depending on what floor you're on. Also, footsteps can be heard at all times if you're on the ground level. Everything is kept neat and tidy by maintenance.

It was a really nice area, right next to the police station which was nice for safety reasons but also super close to all my classes and to food places nearby. It wasn’t the quietest but the layout is different than most college dorms, the outside looks like villas and the inside contained a kitchen and living room with 4 connecting bedrooms, each bedroom containing its own bathroom.
