Camellia Hall Dorm Reviews at South Alabama

The newer dorm hall on campus. Spacious and modern-eque rooms that leave a lot of room for creativity. Issues were rare but the maintenance crew was extremely helpful if you were to encounter a problem.

Staying in Camellia Hall was a nice experience. Despite the thin walls and being able to hear every little thing coming from someone else's room, it was a great place to stay. The study rooms are great and the building is beautiful. The rooms are big, compared to some smaller dorms that a lot of colleges have.

I have had a great year at Camellia Hall. I would say that the university has handled COVID safely and I have been able to focus on my studies. I would say that the area that needs the most improvement is the social aspect. There are already so few social opportunities, it would have been nice if the dorms offered some.

Cameilla hall is a great hall. It is in the middle of everything. The hall is beside the cafeteria and the bus stop is next to the building. It is an easy access point and it is a safe area. It is also near the recreation center. It is in walking distance. It is also very close to the field for football games. The building is beautiful as well as the rooms. They are up to date and very elegant. Everything is well maintenance.

This residential hall is one of the newer halls on campus, and is placed right next to the dining hall, which is very nice since it's a very short walk to grab some food. All of the RAs, like much of the staff at South, is very nice and easy to work with; however, there are people, like at any college, that tend to get excessively loud regularly at late hours.
