The building itself is very old, so the wooden floors tend to squeak. The walls are all pretty thick so it's rare I hear my neighbors. The fluorescent lights in the dorm often bother my head, but the large windows give enough light during the day and I use fairy lights at night, so they're hardly necessary. The building is in the center of campus, so I'm never very far from events happening.
