Hollis Hall Dorm Reviews at St. John's

Not much to say, its an alright housing no malfunctions or major occurrence's have happened when i was still there. Only notable issue was crowding during some campus visits, but those wrap up quickly enough.

Hollis hall was a very nice and unique hall to live in. I lived on the 5th floor and it was pretty quiet for the most part. Some of the students were nice and others were okay. Overall I would recommend Hollis hall to every student.

it was very clean and i felt very safe with the staff positioned at the front desk and the RA that lived in our hall. the laundry room provided a great area to ensure that our hygiene was manitained and the cleaning crew constantly made sure garbages were mptied from the garbage room and that the halls and elevators and stair cases remained tidy and safe

Hollis generally gave me a decent experience. Due to dorming as a freshman in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, things were not normal and neither was my experience. However, my RA was amazing and she very obviously cared about her residents. The staff was always nice and helpful and my dorm situation was overall pleasant. I really enjoyed having our bathrooms ensuite and not having to share bathrooms with the entire floor.

For my first semester at Florida Southern, I loved living in this hall. I felt it was the perfect location for all my classes and a good distance to all dining options and the gym. Overall, I am going to miss living in that building.

My experience with Hollis was very brief due to the covid but I can say the experience was worse than good. The constant building evacuations due to the fire alarm, the oven being locked for several weeks, and terrible RA's

So far I would say that Hollis Hall is a good and satisfactory dorm to live in. The dorms are suite style meaning you get a cute common area that you can customize and can have multiple rooms in a suite. I think Hollis gives you a variety if all kinds of rooms which I have noticed some schools not offer. I think overall Hollis Hall is a good quality dorm.

The greatest downside of Hollis Hall was the long distance from classrooms, which is true for all of the dorm options at St. John's. Hollis met all the expectations I had when imagining living in a college dorm.

My experience in Hollis is fantastic. The rooms in the dorm are a great size and clean when you move in. The bathrooms are community-style with three shower stalls that have very hot water and good pressure. The common area is not very large but the windows let a lot of light during the day which helps. Each room has its own AC control which is great since the hallways are usually very cold. The hall feels safe even at night, and I have nothing but good reviews for Hollis!

Hollis is the best place to live on campus for freshmen. The suites come with a half kitchen, living room with couches, and more than one bathroom. There are options for singles, triples, and quadruples.

it is a nice placement on campus and I haven't had a problem living here the environment is very nice. The bathroom is surprising the roomy with plenty of toilet and shower stalls for multiple people to use at once while also giving you some privacy.

This dorm was very spacious and clean. The workers at the entrance were always very sweet and I miss living here. The Hall was quiet and I was always able to concentrate on my homework every day. It was also very clean.
